It started snowing this afternoon. I had grand ideas about shooting in the storm while Evie and I walked to the school for musical rehearsal. I was even fancy and put a plastic bag around my camera to “weatherproof” it.
She wasn’t quite so excited about my plans.

In fact, I spent a lot of time chasing after her and hollering at her to slow down so she wouldn’t slip (when did I become that mom?).

Later, Gracie was a little more accommodating, but even she only lasted a few minutes.

Ah well. It’s supposed to snow tomorrow too. Maybe THEN someone will play with me and my plastic bag wearing camera.

But, probably not.

I have had many a photo shoot idea that has been “shot down” by my uncooperative kiddos! Your pictures turned out awesome anyway.
She really does not look happy at all. Kids these days eh, no idea of the importance of making these opportunities for photographs priorities… Haha! At least you have snow though, all we have is grey dull skies…. boring!

My kids do the same thing! Minus the snow…if we ever got that much snow in FL they’d be all excited for a shoot
I love these!!! Capturing the kids in the snow is one of my favorite things to do. I picked up this thing called Rain Coat I think- for the camera after my first couple days here I was standing in the rain trying to capture a great moment. It was so worth it- I don’t worry anymore.
Love these!! So gorgeous.
These are such beautiful photos! Love the clarity of them. Happy Friday!
Loving the snowy sidewalks!
That is great. My kids LOVE the snow I should put a plastic bag on my camera and test it out today is perfect for that!!
Oh shoot. I have some grand ideas too and for some reason they just never work out the way I’d planned. You still got some fun photos out of it though!
I love the one of her running away, both feet are off the ground just like I picture she takes on life!
Oh my goodness, Evie is totally rocking that pout! I love it.
I am smitten with the first frame!
